Cowes is renowned for sailing, Cowes Castle being home to the world famous Royal Yacht Squadron, which ranks amongst the world's elite yacht clubs. Word Association with the Brand:
The beginning...
The Mad Cowes brand culture evolved as an après sailing brand during Cowes Week in 1997. That summer 2 post grad students, James Haxton and PJ Scott, came to Cowes and sold T shirts and other clothing emblazoned with ‘Mad Cowes’. Following the success of Cowes Week, they shortly acquired a shop on the High Street, which also operated as the company’s administration centre.
And now...
Mad Cowes no longer has a shop, and instead retails online and at events and shows throughout the UK. We have become quite a familiar sight on the ‘show circuit’ having toured the country for the last 6 years! See Mad Cowes on Tour to see where we plan to be this year. Mad Cowes also retails through wholesalers; find a shop near you - Who stocks Mad Cowes?!
